I’M A MOSAIC! FROM SEVERINI, SIRONI, AND FONTANA TO PALADINO, PLESSI, AND SAMORÌ

The exhibition traces some key moments in the history of the Mosaic School of the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna in the year of its centenary (1924-2024). It takes the visitor from the origins of the mosaic revival that took place in Ravenna in the 1920s to the surprising interpretations of the tile in contemporary art, passing through the crucial experiences of the 1950s, the experiments of the 1980s, and the exceptional results of mosaic in public art and digital spaces.
