On 22 February at 12 noon, the MAR will be the venue for the final performance, open to the public, of the CorpoGiochi a Scuola project realised with the teachers, pupils and students of class 5D of the Muratori primary school, the title of the special event being Compito al MAR. The trial by fire. It is a real performance in which strategies, tools and skills trained during the workshops at school take on a new, sometimes visible, sometimes invisible form. The performance takes place in the dark and it is the audience, equipped with torches, that is responsible for illuminating the performative action. The audience is therefore decisive for the success of the rehearsal: the light gives the protagonists the energy they need to orient themselves and move through space and time. Only thanks to the cooperation of all parties involved does the rehearsal take on the power of a rite of passage to middle school. The Task at the MAR is realised by CorpoGiochi ASD thanks to the co-participation of the Municipality of Ravenna and the contribution of the Fondazione del Monte di Bologna e Ravenna. The project participates in the citizenship education programme of the Legislative Assembly of the Emilia Romagna Region ‘conCittadini 2024/2025’.
