A hackathon in search of a brilliant idea capable of opening the museum to the world: the MAR rewards talent and vision with a creative competition dedicated to the new Arts & New Media room. Participation is free, €3,000 up for grabs (the registration date has been extended until 23:59 on 2 MARCH 2025).
The MAR – Art Museum of the City of Ravenna confirms itself as a center of cultural innovation, launching a hackathon that calls together designers, architects, technicians, students, creatives and visionaries from all over the world. The goal: to transform the new Arts & New Media room into a bridge between the museum and the global public, thanks to creative and accessible ideas.
The challenge:
Connect the museum with an international audience by developing tools that transcend the physical boundaries of the Arts & New Media room. Make contemporary art accessible and inclusive.
Who can participate:
Designers, architects, technicians and creative people, Students and young talents. Ordinary people with bright ideas. Participation is open to both individuals and groups, encouraging collaborations across disciplines and visions.
