Opening of Residenze Musive II

The GAeM – Giovani Artist* e Mosaico competition, aimed at artists under 35, explores the research of younger generations, both in the use of traditional materials and techniques, with the Orsoni Venezia 1888 Prize section, and with alternative and unconventional proposals, with the Fondazione Cingoli Prize section. In collaboration with GA/ER Giovani Artisti Emilia Romagna, the competition also organises two artist residencies. Now in its second edition, Residenze Musive brings artists and curators into dialogue with the city’s mosaic workshops: Lisa Martignoni, in collaboration with Dimensione Mosaico and curated by Viviana Piraneo, presents the work (T)Essere; Dalia Tvardauskaite, in collaboration with Pixel Mosaici and curated by Giorgio Vernuccio, presents the work Musivale.
