Portuaria
curated by Club Adriatico
19 giugno 2026, from 9,30 pm
The MAR hosts a new event of Portuaria, programme curated by Club Adriatico and E PRODUCTION, promoted by the Municipality of Ravenna.
Originally conceived in response to the changes brought about by the pandemic and the restrictions that this context imposed on live music and the use of cultural spaces, Portuaria has gradually evolved into a hybrid and ever-changing programme dedicated to live performance and the most innovative forms of contemporary electronic music. Over the years, it has hosted international artists and projects, establishing itself as a space for listening, experimentation and dialogue.
The evening’s guests will be HHY & The Kampala Unit, a project founded by Jonathan Uliel Saldanha together with trumpeter Florence Nandawula, which brings together musicians and performers linked to the Ugandan collective Nyege Nyege. Their work blends dub, techno, funk, percussion and wind instruments, exploring variations in rhythmic intensity and sonic depth within a performative context.
The evening will start with a live set by Nicolini, a Dutch multi-instrumentalist, musician and producer whose sound spans genres ranging from industrial dancehall to DIY post-punk. The evening will be opened and closed by a DJ set from Pit, resident DJ and artistic director of Club Adriatico.
The event forms part of the VALUE Plus Cultural Festival, a wide-ranging programme bringing together artistic and cultural initiatives promoted as part of the VALUE Plus project, funded by the Interreg Italy–Croatia programme, with the aim of promoting cultural districts and encouraging public participation.
