From 31 January to 22 February 2026, the MAR will dedicate its spaces to Il MAR dei piccoli (The MAR for Children), the traditional event now in its fourth edition, which sees children and their families take centre stage at the museum. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Ravenna, the Department of Education and Childhood and the Department of Culture.
Il MAR dei piccoli is a shared project that brings together the various cultural organisations in the area involved in education and childhood to create a month of creative and recreational activities dedicated to children within the museum. Through workshops, shows, animated readings and expressive activities, the museum becomes a living space for discovery, play and imagination, where children can approach art in a participatory and fun way, thanks to the fruitful collaboration of local professionals and institutions.
