An afternoon dedicated to the meeting of music and art history within the spaces of the Pinacoteca del MAR. The event offers an engaging cultural experience that combines live music with the discovery of the museum’s collections, creating an evocative dialogue between sound, images, and the atmospheres of the Romantic imagination.
The event will open with a concert by students of the State Conservatory “Giuseppe Verdi” of Ravenna, held in the Sala del ’600. The audience will be guided through a musical journey spanning different periods and styles: from the sounds of Johann Sebastian Bach, with the Adagio and Fugue from Sonata No. 1 in G minor BWV 1001, to the virtuosity of Caprices No. 1 and No. 5, Op. 1 by Niccolò Paganini.
The program continues with “The Last Rose of Summer” by Heinrich Wilhelm Ernst and the evocative atmospheres of “Recuerdos de la Alhambra” by Francisco Tárrega, concluding with “Applemania” by Aleksey Igudesman, a contemporary piece with a brilliant character.
Violin: Daniel Savina
Total duration: approximately 40 minutes.
Following the concert, the audience will be able to take part in a guided tour exploring the MAR collections.
