On the occasion of the exhibition “Chagall in mosaic. From design to work”, the MAR – Art Museum of the City of Ravenna presents the new children’s book “Nel blu. Un sogno di Chagall”, written and illustrated by Filippo Farneti, head of the museum’s educational section.
The book is the result of the MAR’s educational workshop and represents an ideal bridge between Chagall’s poetic imagination and the gaze of children: a delicate and surprising story that guides children and families to discover colour, dreams and imagination through a reinterpretation of the Russian artist’s work.
The presentation will be attended by Mara Predicatori, art historian, educationalist and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna, who will present some projects carried out by students of the Pedagogy and Art Education course at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna (Francesca Bordet • Francesco D’Angelo • Chiara Capucci • Silvia Cichocki • Annalisa Conte • Cecilia De Carlo • Veronica Di Felice • Alice Foschi • Rita Giorgi • Francesca Guariso • Emma Neulichedl • Marco Scalcione • Martina Scaramuzzo • Chiara Ravina) who worked with Filippo Farneti at MAR during the year.
