ORGANIZER: The Municipality of Ravenna, the Department of Culture and MAR Ravenna
The exhibition of the fashion photographer Paolo Roversi with memories and unpublished images from his own archive. The exhibit presents about 300 photos that represent an unique experience to explore the immaginary of the artist. The project deals with a narration of a constant research about timeless womean’s pure and evanescent beauty, creatures absorbed in the light where it’s possible to see a return to the origins, to the city which the exhibit is dedicated, that is Ravenna.
As a tribute to the seven-hundredth anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s death, there is a vast selection of shots that celebrate and reinvent the figure of the muse – as an ideal reference to Beatrice of Dante from the Divina Commedia – interpreted here in a contemporary way by iconic women such as Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Rihanna.
