Main activities of the institution<\/h4>\n

The MAR is located within the monumental complex of the Loggetta Lombardesca. The Museum is a complement to an already established activity of conservation and exploitation of heritage, a cultural production articulated and a rich exhibition activity, which allows to disseminate the results of the most advanced scientific research. The museum moves on different registers, from the great themes of contemporary life in a historical perspective, to the frontiers of emerging creativity, from interventions for the protection of heritage, to the recovery of material culture and manufactures. The Museum also houses the collection of modern and contemporary mosaics, with particular reference to the works of the second twentieth century and aims to support new generations in artistic experiments related to the mosaic, The focal point of the historical and artistic evolution of the city of Ravenna.<\/p>\n

Together with our network of supporters and partners, we work every day to make MAR accessible to everyone, accompanying the new generations in the discovery of art through our permanent collections and temporary exhibitions, Preserving our past and making it compass for the future, enhancing the role of culture in social, economic and civil development.<\/p>\n

The Art Bonus is a special tax concession introduced to support culture in order to protect and enhance the public artistic heritage, thus allowing to increase the direct participation of citizens and companies in the “beautiful common” the ethical value of protecting cultural heritage as a collective asset.
\nAllows a tax credit of 65% of the donated amount.
\nAll subjects may benefit from it, regardless of their nature and legal form.<\/p>\n

Through the Art Bonus, the museum has over the years implemented its collections, rearranged part of its heritage and organized temporary exhibitions of great quality and appreciated by the public and critics. The following projects are currently eligible for support:<\/p>\n
