{"id":10221,"date":"2026-06-11T05:41:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T05:41:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mar.ra.it\/evento\/centri-ricreativi-estivi-di-ravennantica\/"},"modified":"2026-06-18T09:45:17","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T09:45:17","slug":"centri-ricreativi-estivi-di-ravennantica","status":"publish","type":"etn","link":"https:\/\/mar.ra.it\/en\/event\/centri-ricreativi-estivi-di-ravennantica\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer Camp by RavennAntica"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"vc_custom_heading vc_do_custom_heading\">I CRE<\/h3>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>The CRE \u2013 RavennAntica Summer Camps \u2013 are back again this year; the summer activities will be held at the <strong>Museo Classis Ravenna<\/strong> and at the <strong>MAR \u2013 Museo d\u2019Arte della citt\u00e0 di Ravenna.<\/strong><br \/>\nEvery week, from <strong>Monday to Friday,<\/strong> from <strong>15 June to 11 September 2026<\/strong>, the Classis and the MAR are offering fun, entertaining and educational summer activities designed to introduce children to artistic techniques, history, archaeology and mosaics, with a focus on active participation and stimulating creativity.<br \/>\nRegistration will open on Tuesday 31 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Both CREs, aimed at<strong> children aged 6 to 13<\/strong>, are structured in the same way: each day, themed workshops (clay, mosaics, archaeology, graphic design, colour and recycling) will be held, each with a different focus.<br \/>\nIn addition to the<strong> workshops<\/strong>, there will be sessions of guided <strong>outdoor play<\/strong>. Both indoors and outdoors, the children will have a dedicated space in which to carry out their activities, together with the museum educators. For outdoor activities, the Classis will use the museum\u2019s grounds, whilst the MAR will make use of the nearby Public Gardens.<br \/>\n<strong>New<\/strong> this summer at the Classis Museum: thanks to a partnership with <strong>Happy English School<\/strong>, the Cre will be enhanced with an <strong>afternoon English course<\/strong> entitled \u2018Around the World\u2019.<br \/>\nA special journey:<strong> four weeks<\/strong> exploring the world (<strong>from 15 June to 10 July<\/strong>), learning English in a natural, fun and engaging way. Each week will be dedicated to a different English-speaking country, allowing children to discover its culture, nature, animals, traditions and interesting facts through creative and multi-sensory activities. The countries chosen are: the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and Ireland.<br \/>\nThe daily afternoon workshop, lasting a total of 2 hours, will follow a consistent structure designed to help children become familiar with the English language.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A typical day:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>from 8.15 am<\/strong> a welcome at the MAR and the Classis Museum;<br \/>\nafter arrival, socialising, a short workshop, outdoor play and a snack;<br \/>\n<strong>from 11 am<\/strong> the day\u2019s themed workshop and guided game;<br \/>\n<strong>1.00\u20132.00 pm<\/strong> packed lunch and parents collecting their children (for those not staying for the afternoon extension programme);<br \/>\n<strong>2.00\u20134.00 pm<\/strong> from 15 June to 10 July at the Classis Museum: \u2018Around the World\u2019 with the teachers from Happy English School.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MAR\u2019s weekly workshops<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Monday \u2013 Earth games.<\/strong> Playful, hands-on activities with clay<br \/>\n<strong>Tuesday \u2013 Tile by tile<\/strong>. Workshops to discover the secrets of mosaics<br \/>\n<strong>Wednesday \u2013 Imagine, invent, create.<\/strong> Creative design workshops<br \/>\n<strong>Thursday \u2013 What colour is it today?<\/strong> Experimental workshops on the use of colour<br \/>\n<strong>Friday \u2013 Creative recycling.<\/strong> Experimental workshops to make new objects from recycled materials<\/p>\n<p><strong>Classis&#8217;s weekly workshops<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Monday \u2013 Earth games.<\/strong> Playful, hands-on activities with clay<br \/>\n<strong>Tuesday \u2013 Tile by tile<\/strong>.
